I ordered this 3-cup bowl
"I ordered this 3-cup bowl to replace one my husband recently dropped and broke. It was part of a set of lidded mixing bowls I got from Costco years ago, and it's size--perfect for taking soups, salads, and other leftovers for lunch--made it the most used bowl in the set. I was glad to find a matching replacement at Pyrex--and I even ordered a second 3-cup bowl since it is the bowl (with lid) I most use and since I was already having to pay for shipping (which for a single item was otherwise adding 100%+ to the purchase price). The only reason I gave it four stars vs. 5 is that I couldn't find the matching lids on the Pyrex website, so had to separately order them on Amazon."

Not a really a mixing bowl, but a utility player
"I bet I have purchased more than 48 of these bowls over the years. I have 12 of these in my possession right now, and use one or more of them every day, but as a mixing bowl? Only for beating at most 4 eggs. I use them as soup bowls, salad bowls, storing leftovers both in the refrigerator and freezer. My sons use them as cereal bowls (too big for me). They are handsome and very sturdy. I used to give them as housewarming and bridal shower gifts, back when they came with lids. Since they don't now come with lids, and because the lids have been been discontinued, I won't be buying more as gifts. The pyrex product team has really dropped the ball by discontinuing the lids."

"These are great 3 cup sculpted bowls. Solid build and quality PYREX Glass. Excellent as a cereal bowl or for Leftovers with the lid. Great price, packaged very well showing the shipper knows a lot about Shipping Glass. Fast delivery."

Need replacement lids
"3 cups is hardly a mixing bowl, a "serving piece"? - no, but it's perfect for storing soup or stew in the freezer, defrosting, then (with lid off) reheating and eating. I have 8 bowls, which have lasted for decades - but the lids have not. They used to be sold with lids, and replacement lids could be bought. Without the lids, they're not all that useful. Please make lids again."

"Love the size. Perfect for cream of wheat, scrambling eggs, etc. Well-used. Can't be hand washed and left to dry b/c water spots show horribly. But overall, I like it."
